Boe has been a proud DMo Team member since 2015! Since then, he has been lucky enough to work with some of the most special young talents in the country-- and beyond! As a choreographer, Boe has worked with DMo founder Janine Molinari on productions of The Who's Tommy, The Fantasticks, HAIR, and Jesus Christ Superstar. Individual choreographic credits include Anything Goes, Sister Act, and 42nd Street. An active performer and member of AEA, Boe has been seen all over the country in the national tour of Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes, and regionally in shows such as The Music Man, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, Legally Blonde, A Chorus Line, Disney's Beauty And The Beast, Fiddler On The Roof, All Shook Up, Singin' In The Rain, and many more. All love and thanks to our team, our artists, and our family!
Boe caught the dance bug early, thanks to his parents' love for the performing arts; he was lucky enough to be going to the theatre, the ballet, and devouring the MGM classics before even going to preschool. His parents noticed his fascination with dance and performance and wasted no time getting him into class. From there, it was love at first plié: Boe was soon immersed in countless styles of dance, including ballet, modern, jazz, tap, theatre dance, jazz funk, and ballroom.
Boe's love for dance was only matched by his love for theatre, and he wasted no time: he made his regional theatre debut as Louis in The King and I at eight years old and never stopped from there. His years of performance led him to Baldwin Wallace University's celebrated musical theatre program, from which Boe graduated in 2013 and immediately moved to New York City. He hit the ground running, working in numerous regional productions before setting sail as a hoofing sailor on the National Tour of Kathleen Marshall's TONY award-winning revival of Anything Goes. Some of his additional favorite credits include All Shook Up (Dean Hyde), Disney's Beauty And The Beast(LeFou), Kiss Me, Kate! (Hortensio), A Chorus Line, and The Drowsy Chaperone. In addition to performing, Boe also has been lucky enough to serve as Dance Captain, Assistant Dance Captain, and Associate Choreographer on many of the shows in which he's been involved.
In New York, Boe has been lucky enough to study under many brilliant instructors including Dana Moore, Jeff Shade, Scott Thompson, Kathryn Mowat Murphy, Randy Skinner, Jennifer Savelli, Sean McKnight, Richard Pierlon, and the late David Howard, among many others. Their guidance has helped him understand that dance is about continuous growth, exploration, dedication, an open mind, and an open heart. These principles have helped him grow not only as a dancer and a performer, but as a human being in general.
