Joe Barbara

Joe was part of the original Broadway cast of A Bronx Tale - The Musical, as well as its world premiere at the Paper Mill Playhouse, and the first national tour. Most recently he was nominated for a Connecticut Critics Circle Award for best lead actor in a musical for his portrayal of “Sonny” at Seven Angels Theatre - a show he co-directed with the uber-talented Janine Molinari. He made his Broadway debut in the Jeff Calhoun/Tommy Tune revival of Grease! as Danny Zuko. Other credits: Des McAnuff’s original production of Jersey Boys (Vegas), The Wanderer, (world premiere), Rock & Roll Man, (New World Stages). Off Broadway: Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding, Nunsense. Regional: Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast. TV: “Another World” (created the role of Joe Carlino, series regular); “All My Children,” (Paolo Caselli), “Law & Order,” “Blue Bloods.” Film: Soon to be released Jersey Boys Live! with Nick Jonas.
