Sept 10th - Dec 17th

Class Description

This hybrid class focuses on Conditioning, Leaps, Jumps, Turns, and Technique Training while focusing on mastering the styles of Broadway seen in current shows such as Cabaret, Hamilton, MJ: The Musical, and more. This in-studio class is available for all levels, ages 14 to adult (or with instructor approval), and will end the last 15 minutes with an audition combo. Come dance with us and let your inner performer shine!

Intermediate/Advanced

Class Description

Get ready to tap your way to the stage. Explore various tap styles, steps, history, international music, and improvisation. Whether you're Broadway’s Greatest Tap Star or just starting, this class is perfect for anyone looking to expand their tap dance repertoire

Sept 17th - Oct 8th

4 Week Workshop

7PM-8PM

Class Description

Drumming, body percussion, and rhythm work directly from the hit show STOMP! This workshop is a way to blend percussion, improv, and dance to create a truly unique style of performance and expression that kids of all ages can use to help build confidence and focus in the audition room. Real drumming techniques are used to allow the student to improv to a tempo set by another instrument and to create music using every part of their body or any object found in the room

Sept 24th - Oct 29th

6 Week Workshop

Class Description

It's 7' o Clock on a Tuesday and time to get some practice with your buck time step in this evening workshop class series. Tappy Hour is back!! Focusing on making Tap fun to learn for beginner/intermediate adults. You must be 18 years of age or older to Join Us. Tappy Hour toast is included in every class!

Dress Code

In the spirit of fostering a professional environment and to insure the safety of all of our students,  the DMO Team requires that all students adhere to the following dress code:
 

  • Students should be dressed in Alll black or DMO attire

  • Absolutely NO jeans! Please wear pants that allow for a large range of movement.

  • Hair should be tied back and pulled out of the face. For ballet hair should be put into a bun.

  • NO  loose jewelry should be worn as it can fly off the body and be a cause of danger to al persons in the class

  • Please wear the proper footwear for the class (Tap Shoes for Tap, Jazz Shoes, Heels, Sneakers for Musical Theatre, etc. ) Wearing the incorrect shoe increases the odds for accidents and injury.
